A questioning tonality is also powerful for creating doubts. It’s a powerful trick that lawyers often do when they question their suspects in the courtroom.

Using the questioning tonality combined with raised eyebrows is also useful when you want another person to keep talking.

Now, you don’t want to be using a questioning tonality when you want to make a command. A command should be made with a downward inflection.

That ensures your request is much more likely to be carried out.
